D&D 5E What about the magazines?

All I care about is that there are single-PDF downloads of any future issues of Dungeon and Dragon. I appreciate the feeling of a paper-and-ink magazine in my hands as much as any man, but I have to acknowledge that I can keep a PDF on my hard drive forever and after a time a decision has to be made about keeping a paper copy in my library. Sad but true.

I found the DDI subscription to be really useful. When I was running 4e games it was very convenient to not have to have my books at the table at all (in fact, I stopped buying books except ones that had story material I wanted). If I wanted a 4e adventure for 5th level characters and didn't have one made (or just needed an idea), I had every digital issue of Dungeon available.

I would totally consider a DDI subscription again...the only thing that might keep me from it is I am finding that 5e works better with no computers at the table than 4e did.

For me I would still read Dragon and mine Dungeon for ideas even if I wasn't playing the edition however I wouldn't necessarily want access to the rules systems for an edition I didn't play especially when it's so different like 4E was.

So by rolling it into the DDI meant I no longer read the magazines. Separate pdf's and the problem goes away.
