D&D General what about the spell " Extra Life " ?
That spell already exists; it's called clone.
I suppose you could make a version that would just pop you back up right then and there when you die; but I don't know how useful that would be. As a rule, if you die in D&D, it's because something killed you, and that something is probably still there a round later. More useful would be a clone spell that didn't take 120 days to mature. You'd probably have to push it back to 9th level, since it's significantly better than clone.

the ring of 9 lives comes to mind.
I once played a 3.5 ninja and got the wizard of the party to make a small wooden doll that was an expendable item that cost 1/9th the cost of the ring of 9 lives (then put the restriction only useable by ninja so 1/3 again) that when i died instead it was a log dressed like me... and he made me like a dozen or so of them....
