What Adventures Focus on Yuan-Ti?

I1 Dwellers of the Forbidden City

Dungeon magazine had at least 1 adventure in the Mere of the Dead Men series ....set in the FR.

also Serpent Kingdoms has an adventure.

edit: there was a lot of talk back in late 2002/early 2003 of making it the year of the Yuan-ti for 2003 and the new setting search.

Hmmm, Dwellers of the Lost City, eh? I'll have to check that out. I remember the Mere series from Dungeon. I think I have numbers 3 and 4... Never got a chance to play through it though cause I was missing three of them.

Is that it? I guess I thought Yuan-Ti were a little more...liked and common than that.

They are in the 1e MMII but they are about as used as Kuo Toa, another one not included in the srd.

Some Other Yuan-Ti Adventures from Dungeon

There is a 2e Yuan-Ti adventure in Dungeon 37 (classic issue), but I can not remember its name. There is also a 3e Greyhawk adventure featuring a Yuan-Ti villain called "Racing the Snake" (I believe Dungeon 105). The Shackled City Adventure Path also contains some Yuan-Ti references at the higher levels, but it is not the focus of the campaign.

There was a 2nd ed module published by TSR for 20th level characters that featured yuan-ti. It was called "The Labrynth of Madness".

That was tough.

It seems to me that the Yuan-ti have become a bit more popular in the late 90's. They're even in a good amount of relatively recent D&D related video games, like "Icewind Dale" and the PS2 FR game that Salvatore (sp?) helped create. I find it odd that they have only appeared in a handfull of adventures over the decades.

Question: How is it pronounced? I've flip-flopped between U-wan-tee and Yawn-tee.

In the NeverWinter Nights computer game its pronounced "Yawn-Tee." Ever since I first saw them in AD&D I have always pronounced it "U-wan-Tie."

Dungeon 105 (the Warduke issue) has "Racing the Snake." The basic premise: The party must lead a Yuan-Ti assassin on a wild-goose chase. The PCs impersonate his intended victim and pull him off into the wilderness while the real "victim" is shuttled off to safety. Once the PCs are sure the intended victim is safe, they go from being the hunted to the hunters.
For levels 5-7, I believe.
I see it as a good intro to the yuan-ti since there's only one in the adventure.
