I asked this elsewhere, but I wished to ask it on ENWorld.

What alignment was Taarna, from the 1982 film Heavy Metal?
And, why was she said alignment?

Anyone?

I'll take a stab at it - I'm going to go with Lawful Good. She was shown as the polar opposite to the barbarians who were ransacking the land, and they were obviously a force of chaos. She belonged to a sort of Holy Order (the last living member of it, apparently), and was willing to literally give her life to oppose evil. Sounds pretty much like Lawful Good to me.

I'd say that she was CHaotic Good mainly because like was said before she saw nothing wrong with beating people up and killing to get answers and do what she was supposed to do. also, JUst because she was the opposing force of the barbarians, do not assume that she was a paragon of law. vengence is not a lawful act. she was charged with killing the barbarians not bringing them to justice.
