Dundjinni is certainly the uber software of the year, for sure. However, not only it requires a powerful computer (rather than the old dinosaur I use), but it is also intended for fantasy RPGs.
I need to create maps for modern / sci-fi games. Especially interiors of starships and stations. It needs not be beautiful as Dundjinni (and it cannot be, as dundjinni is at the top IMO).
So what would you suggest? (I have both Macintosh and PC). What software that can be downloaded for free, or bought online? Are tiles nice and usable with photoshop (or like software) to recreate various different maps?
Thanks.
