What are the WotC products scheduled for 2006?

My gut feeling is the next one is Earth/Forests/Jungle something like that? It should be pretty good. I enjoyed the other books in the series.

Also, would it be fair to guess that WotC have stopped the 'Creature splattbooks' line (Dranonomicon, Lords of Madness, etc) and the Environmental Series? I was looking forward to furhter releases.

They had better release more, Forests and Deserts just have to be done.

Erm... Sandstorm = Deserts

I totally with you, though, on forests. Maybe a mountains/badlands/etc. book, too.

Too many differences to be the same book, but what the hell is the Players Kit?
Could it be lots of different Character sheets, a expanded dice set, assortment of base class minis, chits & markers to denote fatigue, charmed..., templates for AOE spell effects, etc.? Just guessing
but 320 pages?

sounds like 2edADnD here we come around again.

we already had the repeat of the Complete series from 2edADnD.. aka Splatbooks.

so this sounds like the reintroduction of the 2edADnD Option days... ala SKills and Powers

Last week, WotC announced the 2006 Star Wars Minis releases:

February: Attack on Endor
May: Champions of the Force
September: Bounty Hunters
November: Galactic Conquest

Official annoucement is here, though it contains no more details than what I've posted.

Seems to me you are putting just a little too much weight on the word 'kit' in the title.
