Trick-or-treating (and dressing up at Hallowe'en in general) is not [yet] a feature of Aussie society. But with our kids soaking up USAn cultural influences at the rate they are it is only a matter of time.

If it were, I would dig out my violet shirt, socks, and biretta, my ring, sash, and pectoral, my cassock, clerical collar and stole: and dress as a child molester. Mind you, I might have to shorten the sash and take in the cassock a bit.

An ex of mine is getting married this Halloween, so I'll be on the gulf coast and somewhat inebriated and dressed as a eurotrash vamp. Where on the gulf coast will you be Clay?

Well we have so much Halloween stuff in our goodie bag in this house, I'm sure I'll piece something together as I have no time to make anything new. Currently I'm making two homemade costumes for 'the boys'. A pirate for my husband and a jester for my boy. These will keep me frazzled enough to just want to throw on my hockey sweater, grab my stick and say ta-da!
