I'll be seeing Mr. and Mrs. Smith. About 6 years ago I wrote this story that I was trying to make into a short film. It had more or less the exact same premise. Anyways, I put it on hold because it was a bit too elaborate for an indie-out-of-the-garage flick. Wanted to wait till I had more resources. Then, I just didn't think about it anymore as I went on to other diversions. Years later, this movie comes out. I'm like, "oh geez . . . I always wanted to do something like that......"
A guy I know has been trying to pitch his one idea for a show around for a while. Then the tv show "Scrubs" comes out and it was exactly like his idea. He was like, "...ah...damn...."
Happens all the time...but oh well. Anyways, want to check it out cuz I wanna see what they do with the premise and it looks pretty fun.
