Hmmm. . . I'm significantly less interested in this year's list than I was in last year's. I really only have an interest in the dice and the WotC module.

It matters not, unless I want to drive four hours. With the multitude of FLGS in town (at least 7) you would think at least one would participate but alas, no.

The Hero Lab release on the FreeRPGDay CD contains an early public preview of the upcoming data files for the Cortex System RPG from Margaret Weis Publishing. The official release of the Cortex System will cover the core rulebook, as well as both the Serenity RPG and Battlestar Gallactica RPG game systems. The preview on the CD showcases Battlestar Gallactica, and this is the only place where you'll be able to preview these data files before official release sometime in July.

Pretty sure the Cortex system is out now as I have a copy. I purchased it at my FLGS and they have a second copy in stock already. I was a little disappointed that they went paperback only for the book instead of hardback, but oh well, at least they finally released it. Unless you are saying that Hero Labs is doing a Cortex version, which that would be interesting to see a super hero take of Cortex.
