What are you reading -- for fun and inspiration?

I believe the author's name is Dan Brown, but read

Angels and Demons

DiVinci's Code

Both are really really cool. Modern stories with real history as the backdrop..

Hmm. Nietzsche pops up twice in a thread about books for fun and inspiration.
I took a lecture class on Nietzsche once. It was a good time especially laughing at the woman who was offended by everything.:D I think she must have taken the class at random. She had problems with every concept Nietzsche brings up.

What Nietzsche in particular are you people referring to?

I personally would recommend The Birth of Tragedy(only read the first half, the rest of it is fawning over Wagner and is quite repulsive), Thus Spoke Zarathustra(I can't recommend this one enough), Geneology of Morals, and round it off with a little Twilight of the Idols.

I'm currently reading "Naked Empire" by Terry Goodkind. It's the eighth book in the Sword of Truth series. The series is really good, but I'm not sure how much of an inspiration it would be. Some of the elements seem rather difficult to translate to D&D.
