Currently reading Roberto Bolaños 2666. A bit late on the train, but darn it’s good! The first episode reads like Umberto Eco od:ing on postmodernism. If the book keeps this up it might enter my (unseriously long) favourite list.

Recently finished Hodag Days by R.L. Baranowski.
Started reading Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil by V.E. Schwab.

Finished Margery Allingham's first mystery novel The White Cottage. It was fun for a 1925 book, and relatively racism free. The sexism I guess I'm more willing to let slide due to Allingham's own gender. The mystery itself was cute

Now reading two graphic novels: Under Ninja vol 1 and Hexagon Bridge vol 1. Under Ninja is a manga about a super low-level ninja in modern days who just wants his first Ninja job. Hexagon vol 1 is from Image with stunning art by Richard Blake. I'm not sure if the story is keeping up with the art, but I'm in for at least v1.
