Gen 13
Any Jim Lee stuff. His art is awesome!

:]

Excalibur Special edition very first team forming issue before the regular serise, and any of Alan Davis' run on the book, though I prefer Clairmont's to Alan's writing.

The Asgardian Wars - Particularly the 'New Muntants' half of it, Art Adam's art rocked!

New Mutants - The Bill Sienkiewicz era: Demon Bear, and Slumber Party being my favorite.

Amazing Spider-man - The McFarlane era...awesome run. Didn't like just Spiderman or Spawn much after, but I got them just cause. It was Amazing Spider-man issue 300, and the Excalibur special edition laying on the magazine rack at the grocery store that got me into comics. Visually pretty cool stuff.

Well aside from the obligatory stuff like The Dark Knight Returns, Watchmen, Kingdom Come, all that good stuff I would say...

The entire run of Miracleman which I have read, thanks to the internet :p

Preacher

Most anything by Brian Michael Bendis (mostly Powers, Torso, his Ultimate Spider-Man, and even his Sam & Twitch work is really really fun to read)

Oh boy, what else is there? I haven't read comics in over a year :( Comic shop went out of business. I have lots of catching up to do

Ohh I almost forgot:

Masamune Shirow's Orion

First the obvious

Batman :TDK
Watchmen
Kingdom Come

Indies

The Original ElfQuest series

WaRP Graphics run of A Distant Soil - The picture of Lianna on the first page of issue two made me fall in love with this series.

Mage by Matt Wagner (Plus the Grendel Backup story and it takes place in Philly!)

The First Grendel series with Art by the Pander Brothers

Fusion - writer Steven Barnes, the artists Lela Dowling and Steve Gallacci, story editor Lex Nakashima Great Series terrific greyscale art. Possibly distantly linked the the more famous Erma Felna, EDF.

Pretty much anything by Phil Foglio - Especially : The first volume of MythAdventures, The Windslow story, Stanley & His Monster, Buck Godot, Girl Genius. Check him out at http://www.studiofoglio.com/ Apparently he needs money at the moment, so please buy something. Almost forgot, but who could forget "What's New! With Phil and Dixie", I stopped buying The Dragon after that series ended.

The Tick - The original run up until Ben Edlund's departure for hollywood.

Appleseed by Masamune Shirow - I hope he finishes it someday.
