What are your favorite weapons?

Dire Flail I have liked the idea of the flail since before D&D really. As a kid I thought that the Flail was just a cool idea.

I Ruled Zero those things out of any campaign I will ever run. A Dire Flail is nothing more than a really good way to smack YOURSELF in the back of the head...

I remember these being in an old Dragon issue, but don't recall the damage value. What do you assign them. Also, what is their threat range and multiplier?

For the yataghans I treat them the same as a scimitar 1d6/x2 18-20. In 2nd ed, they were 2-7 damage IIRC.

Thanks! Y'know...one of the things I miss in 3.x weapon damage values are the "1d6+1's", etc... I realize they probably levelized everything to make bookkeeping easier, but still.....

Greatsword. Seen it used so many times and one of my favorite anime/manga characters, Guts, uses it.

Katana for visual coolness and it's use by Vampire Hunter D comes in a close second.

skip rock and TWF or a war sling. TWF your bouncing rocks off of 4 heads a round. The imagry is just too cool. . evryone laughs at halfling threating them with a rock until they catch one in the groin.
