What are your goals?

Travel around the world (Discovery Chanellen/National Geographic made me want this).

Make a succesfull videogame (preferably an RPG).

Get a house with a large kitchen with everything in it ( I love cooking).

Marry my current girlfriend.

Kids with my current girlfriend.

Do this one right:

Write the story, script, screenplay, whatever for a major motion picture.

And from what we've seen previously, this one

Do the same for a video game.

will be better described as, "Keep the bozos who get the license for the video game of my movie from releasing unfun, cheesey crud that isn't in keeping with my vision of the movie."

Off the top of my head:

1) Start getting to bed at a more reasonable hour!

2) Love my wife and child like it's goin out of style!

3) Go to GenCon this year.

4) Remember to pause frequently and enjoy all the beautiful things about the world I live in.

This list is not exhaustive in the interest of item #1. And it's certainly not in order of importance.

Start off by finishing my Masters in Molec Bio, almost almost done...

Get my PhD in molec biology

Get published in either Science or Nature, and get fiction published as well

Get married and have kids

No longer have type I diabetes by the time I die, ideally no longer have it by the end of the decade. Research is promising on that front.

I plan short term right now.

Finish my degree this semester.

Have a certain award on my desk come August.

Get drivers license and the car that goes with it.

Talk to my father more often. (As in, at all.)

Seriously. If my tombstone says "a well loved husband and father", I will be happy.

Wife? Kids? Bah! I desire nothing less than the absolute subjugation of this planet and all of its people. I'm going to give myself a grandiose title and everything! Right now I'm leaning towards "Tsar".

And when the last fragments of resistance are swept aside and the bones of my enemies ground into dust beneath my bootheels, then there shall be a great rejoicing over the dawn of a new era! Then, maybe a little nap.

Get a PhD, preferably in history, though if the winds of fate take me to literature instead, so be it.

Get published before Sampsa Kurikka. My honour is at stake here.

When those two are accomplished, everything else should fall into place.

3. I have found my soul mate, I want to make sure she is happy.
