I voted Homebrew, which is what i do 50% of the time (i got like 5 of them or something). I also mix in an occasional Dark Sun or Lankhmar game. Also now...Wilderlands. This revamp of the Wilderlands has really captured my attention. It is truly a 3.5 edition game with a 1st edition feel. It has now become my "default" setting for D&D, no contest.

Of course i play superhero games as much as i do D&D, so.....

I'm using Dawnforge now, it's the best campaign setting I've ever come across.

Hey, Blackshirt5. How is Dawnforge different than FR, KOK, or GH? I'm honestly interested, this isn't a slam or anything. Just curious.

Never used anything but my homebrew myself... Though I've played in 3 different Harn-campaigns and one (very brief) FR-campaign. But as I've done nothing but DM-ed lately, I voted "Homebrew" only...

Previously I used the Forgotten Realms exclusively....but with the end my last campaign....I've decided to "get back to basics" and I'm in the process of creating a homebrew for my next campaign....using only the Core rulebooks and my imagination...(and some elements from Complete Warrior...because it'll be a more physcial combat oriented survival like campaign...with little magic)

I've started a thread about my ideas and concepts for it here.

Hi,

Since the release of 3e, I have run several games:

An FR game which started with 2e in the Bloodstone Lands over 12 years ago which shifted to Greyhawk and currently moves between the two settings.

A Freeport/Greyhawk game using Nyambe for Hepmonaland.

A high-level game set in Greyhawk with planar adventures using Planescape.

We are about to start another FR game in the Bloodstone Lands, but may end up using Eberron instead.

Before 3e, I have run games using Al-Qadim, 1e OA/Kara-Tur, Spelljammer (twice), Planescape (twice), Dragonlance and two homebrew settings.

Cheers

Richard

I usually homebrew, in which I change races and classes available and tweak the rules a little bit, but, from time to time, I like to play by the rules, and to me, D&D is Greyhawk. I am planning to run my first 3.5 campaign in a few weeks and it should be in Greyhawk once again.
