I didn't have d20 Past handy, or I probably would have included Explorer. I don't think Indy is particularly fast -- he's not acrobatic like Lara Croft for instance, and tends to suck up damage rather than avoid it. The reason I chose Dedicated is because it seemed the Aware and Cool Under Pressure talents seemed to suit him. Infiltrator and possibly one level of Daredevil (for the Fearless feature) works well too, tho.

As for 10th level, Indy always struck me as being in a pretty low-key setting so I put an arbitrary level cap on.

I'd make him a rogue/ranger, about even mix. He's quite at home in the wilderness. Just make a "exotic weapon" fighting style so that he can use his whip efficiently, follow the Forgotten Realms clue about using organizations as favored enemies so that he can properly fight Nazi and Crazy Cultists, and you got him cornered.

And yeah, Able Learner to get enough points to put in class skills.

Buhuu, he's a bard!

Actually, if you really wanted to talk D&D classes, I think that would have to be in there. Bard/Rogue/Barbarian, maybe, since he doesn't usually fight unless he gets mad, but when he's mad he's really mad.

Of course, when he does fight it's with his fists, so maybe fighter with unarmed combat feats -- I can't see him taking any levels in monk.

In D&D terms I would say you could do a pretty good model of Indy as an Akashic.
All skills as class skills, the ability to fight decently, a bardic knowledge like ability coupled with adding INT bonus twice to knowledge skills.
