What classes would Xena and Gabrielle be in D&D?

So, what about the OTHER stars of the Action-hour block?

Cleopatra 2525? Rogue 1 / Fetish wear model 3?

Jack of all trades? Bard 1 / Swashbuckler 10 / Bruce Campbell, king of awesome 6?

V.I.P.? Silicon enhanced 3 / written to type 2?

Xena's a high-level Fighter with loads of feats, and some serious points in Intimidate.

Gabby's a Bard, and has loaded up on all the diplomacy-related skills (yet frequently rolls 1, for story reasons). Of all the main characters, she probably advances further in level during the seasons than anyone else, from about 0th to who-knows-where. (the others already have lots of levels, but don't change as much)

Joxer...well, he's about a 1st-level Fighter mostly incapable of advancement; by season 6 he makes it to maybe 3rd-Fighter.

Autolycus is a straightforward high-ish level Thief.

Favourite show of all time, this. :)

And, interestingly enough, it was pretty well done as far as mimicking the series' combats and maneuvers and such!
This is actually what I've been running the last couple of weeks, and it does a pretty good job of emulating the show. Of course, you still have to have players that emulate, but that's a different story. . . ;) But we've been having fun with it.

Hercules makes a point of not carrying around a weapon. When he fights he just tends to push people or throw them. My guess is Hercules is a commoner but since he is the son of Zeus he's got some super high stats to compensate for his lack of proper training.

(Although if you count Young Hercules he has got some first class training too, but I simply refuse to do that. It doesn't fit.)
At the very least, he would have Warrior levels. I can't speak to Young Hercules, having never seen it, but more than once in H:TLJ, Herc and Ioalus mention their martial training with the centaurs when they were younger. And while he doesn't carry weapons frequently, when he picks one up, it doesn't look like he's relying on natural ability with it.

I'd not say any of them have Monk levels, per se. They've taken Improved Unarmed Combat so they can punch and kick without incurring an AoO, but that's about it. They're innovative involved players with a GM that's not afraid to come up with some DC's and modifiers on the fly and say 'You're doing a backflip off a table? +1 to attack but you're -1 on AC this round'. And it's a safe bet they're using an action point system :)

Xena's about a fifth-seventh level True20 character, so she can take all the feats she needs to cover the exotic weapon proficiency, her hand-to-hand maneuvers, and a couple others things. Or she has a lot more Conviction than normal, allowing her to just stunt whatever Feats she needs at the moment.

Hercules just has really, really good stats and about a +8 LA to cover his superstrength and DR. Or he's about a PL 8 Mutants and Masterminds character.

The Adventures of Sinbad

I think it would be easier to try and look at the show with Zen Gesner and George Buza (who has appeared in a zillion bit parts).

Using Core Classes....

Sinbad - Rogue/Fighter
Doubar - Barbarian/Fighter
Firouz - Expert
Rongar - Monk
Maeve - Wizard/Fighter
Bryn - Bard/Fighter?

I'm not sure about Bryn, I don't remember her abilities well. She could use magic, couldn't she?

I don't think they fit well into D&D classification because it was a TV show and since they were heroes, they got to do everything. No real continuity.

The fighting is monk-esque because their action choreographer was a martial artist.

I can't really draw any conclusions from the show, because all I see is the production.

Except Autolycus, the King of Thieves...he's Lvl20 Awesome.
