In our last session of DND 4e, our party went into an underground hideout to rescue some former cohorts from some type of cult. In the last chamber, we stumbled upon a meeting between some kobolds and goblins. Overhearing their conversation, we determined that tension was high between the groups. One of the goblins in the room started to leave down the hallway in which we were hiding, claiming that he was going to go check on Pinchy, their pet giant scorpion. The goblin was stealthily dispatched by our group as he passed our hiding places. The brawling fighter then held up the goblin body manipulating his limbs as if he were alive, and the bard, mimicking the goblin's voice, proceeded to call to the other goblins and asked for help. The goblins which came to help were also killed by the party, and the bard yelled (in a goblin voice) that kobolds had attacked and killed the other goblins. A fight between the goblins and kobolds ensued and many were killed without our intervention; we just cleaned up the few survivors. We had a good laugh until the boss man came out from his chambers and KO'd the fighter with a critical hit from his two-handed sword... but we prevailed none the less!
