What D&D Character Type are YOU?

I Am A: Chaotic Neutral Human Fighter

Chaotic Neutral characters are unstable, and frequently insane. They believe in disorder first and foremost, and will thus strive for that disorder in everything they do. This means that they will do whatever seems 'fun' or 'novel' at any given time.

Humans are the 'average' race. They have the shortest life spans, and because of this, they tend to avoid the racial prejudices that other races are known for. They are also very curious and tend to live 'for the moment'.

Fighters are the warriors. They use weapons to accomplish their goals. This isn't to say that they aren't intelligent, but that they do, in fact, believe that violence is frequently the answer.

No, oddly enough, in the last few years I've started playing a lot of Lawful Good characters. (Since I started playing 3e, I've played 4 non-lawful good characters (out of 9 characters) and one of them became lawful-good halfway through his career. Of the five characters I've played the most, all but one are now Lawful Good). It also describes what I would think of as my ideal self pretty well. (I can't even agree with the arguement for an odd interpretation of Chaotic Good (law exists in order to preserve freedom) nearly as well as I used to be able to. . .)

I'd be interested to find if the other lawful good designatees and I actually have a lot in common. . . and how I differ from NG and CG designatees.

It's interesting, its a stupid test, but I'm courious if even a stupid test is 'accurate'. Do people feel that the alignment that they were assigned reflects the way that they play, or the way that they believe? Does anyone believe that the alignment that they were assigned is way off base?

So far our tally is this:

Lawful Good : 8
Nuetral Good : 11
Chaotic Good : 11
Lawful Nuetral : 2
True Nuetral : 23
Chaotic Nuetral: 1
Lawful Evil : 1
Nuetral Evil : 1
Chaotic Evil : 0

What I find most interesting is that this backs up what I've always said. Despite D&D's tradiational protests to the contrary, by far the largest percentage of real people are True Nuetrals. I wouldn't have expect a 'stupid test' to show that, nor most people to 'admit' that and not 'cheat' on the test.

Lawful Good characters are the epitome of all that is just and good. They believe in order and governments that work for the benefit of all, and generally do not mind doing direct work to further their beliefs.

Humans are the 'average' race. They have the shortest life spans, and because of this, they tend to avoid the racial prejudices that other races are known for. They are also very curious and tend to live 'for the moment'.

Rangers are the defenders of nature and the elements. They are in tune with the Earth, and work to keep it safe and healthy.

This test is severely flawed. The questions suck because they don't provide sufficient differentiation and I don't think that it uses D&D3e terms. The alignment result is all wrong, and I've doubts on the class result. Race, OTOH, is okay.

Neutral EVIL elven Rogue / Assassin / Wizard

...yes, that is possible. Hehe, the other PCs don't know about the assassin, but the players do :D :D :D

Chaotic neutral human druid

I hope that the C will vanish soon. Ok, the druid was quite, hmm, impulsive in his youth, but has calmed down now.

Compared with the test, it differs a bit:

TN elven ranger ... why not?
;)

I Am A: Lawful Good Elf Ranger

Ups ! ... near to my D&D Character
Halfelf, Lawful Good Fighter8,Paladin3,Ranger3 of Torm.
Coincidence ?
:D

Add another Chaotic Good Half-elf Mage to the list.
As for how accurate it is...I guess I'd consider myself more neutral good than chaotic, but I can live with the rest.

I Am A: Chaotic Good Half-Elf Ranger

Chaotic Good characters are independent types with a strong belief in the value of goodness. They have little use for governments and other forces of order, and will generally do their own things, without heed to such groups.

Half-Elves are a cross between a human and an elf. They are smaller, like their elven ancestors, but have a much shorter lifespan. They are sometimes looked down upon as half-breeds, but this is rare. They have both the curious drive of humans and the patience of elves.

Incidently, This is the exact character I play on CRPG's, and would play on paper if I had the chance. Now I know why.

Lawful Good human Paladin

Not surprising that there's so many true neutral results, considering the responses in some of those alignment threads... :/
