Listed in order of use frequency...

1. MM

3. MM2
4. Fiend Folio
5. Tome of Horrors 2
6. Creature Collection (Revised)

I've been running the Shackled City as of late, so I've been using lots of creatures from the Fiend Folio and MM2, but I've been using the stats in the hardcover instead of the individual monster books.

I have their epic one and I love the very good full color art. I no longer buy print books but left this one on my amazon wish list for gift ideas for family. I wish Inner Circle (the publisher) would turn the whole thing into a single big pdf instead of just the smaller breakup by CR that is slowly being released.

The problem with a full PDF is the files that I have are over 1.5 GB. Since we did all full color and did so many illustrations, its hard to keep the file size down. We have the next 5 Digital Denizens ready to go. They are going through final pass now.

We may release a PDF of the full book, but only if I can get it down to a respectable size. By the way, we only have a few cases left of the print version. If you want it, its only $20 on our website. And don't be surprised if you see some new monsters from us in 2006...

I forgot some books off of my list :D

From most used to least used:
Monster Manual 3.5
Monster Manual II
Monster Manual III
Creature Collection II
Fiend Folio
Book of Vile Darkness
Libris Mortis (Honestly, I give this book a lot of crap, but I use sooooo much from it!)
Creature Catalogue
Draconomicon
Tome of Horrors
Dragon Magazine (although, once I start up my new Greyhawk campaign, the Demonomicon articles will be much used!)
Lords of Madness

Books that I haven't used but I really want to:
Advanced Bestiary
Book of Fiends
Expanded Psionics Handbook
Frostburn
Monsternomicon
Denizens of Avadnu
Dungeon Magazine

One PDF series I found useful was EN Critters (from EN Publishing). Each PDF has monsters from a focused terrain type or locale, a format which I find a very useful.

Others I've used include Tome of Horrors, MMII, Fiend Folio, and a few others.

In the last campaign arc, I think these got use:

MM I, II (not so much III)
Fiend Folio
XPH
CC I, II, and a few things from III (III's not my favorite)
Tome of Horrors I (yay! for revised) and II
Advanced Bestiary
Complete Minions
Penumbra Fantasy Bestiary
Book of Fiends
Book of Templates Deluxe Edition
Draconic Lore
Necromantic Lore
Creatures of Freeport
Jade Dragons and Hungry Ghosts
Monsters of the Mind
Hyperconscious
Denizens of Avadnu
