1. Underdark. Pretty poor IMO. I sold this off again a couple weeks later it was so poor.

2. XPH. Very good, but if you don't use psionics that much keep get someone to buy you it for Christmas or for your birthday.

3. Monster Manual 3. Perfect. Such a great improvmenet over MM2 and the FF. This is my recommendation.

Going to my hometown tomorrow, stoping at my FLGS. I want to pick up a DnD book, I can only afford one, I've narrowed it down to these 3:
1. The Underdark FR book. Lots of fluff, a fun read. Good backround for games.
2. The expanded Psionics Handbook. I have the orginall 3rd edtion book. Not sure if the new one has changed that much. I don't usally play alot of Psionics.
3. Monster Manual 3. You can never have too many monsters.

Those are the main ones I'm looking at. I have all the old 3rd edtion splat books, not sure if the new complete books are worth it.
Thoughts?

Underdark is definitely a good buy, one of the more enjoyable reads I have had for a long time and some neat critters and good advice on subterranean adventures. I've used quite a few times.

The expanded Psionics Handbook is what I consider a "must" IF you have a psionics heavy campaign (as I have), but otherwise you may want to prefer one of the two others.

I cannot comment on the MM3 as I do not yet own it.
