What do people think of Oathbound?

Gotcha - Well, I'd at least be interested in what you thought, but I know that it is tough to do a review for just one bloke. :P What about telling us how many stars it received? ;)

They don't have stars at d20 weekly... but it was generally a favorable review. Here's an excerpt from the summary:

"Oathbound is a well-written campaign book with some interesting concepts. Most of the rules material seems viable, though some GMs may disdain that the prestige races circumvent levels and make them less reliable as a gauge of character power. Oathbound provides a setting that is a bit less "mock medieval" and more morally ambiguous than most d20 System fantasy worlds. The setting has a mysterious otherworldly feel, and the political nature of the setting should appeal to players with a taste for intrigue while the prestige races and theme may appeal to more combat oriented players as well."

I like Oathbound a great deal.

As a DM I find it the perfect setting for someone who wants to use all of those interesting d20 products. The perfect place for samurai and swashbucklers to meet.

The high number of references to classical literature also appeals.
