D&D 4E What do we know about treasure in 4e?

I think this will be the interesting part about 4E; what have the designers put in for PCs to spend their money on? If magic items are no longer so important (which I LOVE) then perhaps there are others things to do with your hard earned coin.

I hope they have put in some stuff about building up your own tower/castle etc. Or maybe, if they have really got things right (for PoL) the relationship between prices of various items will have changed (with metal items MUCH more expensive).

Of perhaps, coin just no longer features so much in the game; which to some extent, would also be a good thing; I dislike the whole idea of PC wealth being so fabulous that they have more coin than the average small Kingdom.

I wonder if they will make trade goods a part of the system as I am seeing PCs as excellent people to be moving stuff around between PoLs?

Not only that, but I hope the sub game involving spreadsheets and ultrafine tracking of items is gone. I hate having to haul up 37 onyx gems, 16 topaz gems, and 152 freshwater pearls, and even worse, spending significant amounts of game time tracing such items. If the sole purpose of treasure is to provide an "alternate xp system" for my gear, why not just skip the formalities and just have my gear level as I do?
