Until proven otherwise, I would say it's a Coke. 

I have tasted Coke before, but what makes it different from a Pepsi?Looks like Coke, which is a type of soda. If I wanted a root beer or something else that color with the fizz in it, I would ask for that. I'm even glad when I go to a restaurant and I ask for a Coke and they say, "Pepsi OK", meaning that they only sell that brand's product line. I might change my mind since I want a Coke, which is not the same.

It looks like a Mountain Dew float. With a cherry on the side.You left off "soft drink". Which I do not say, but which is the reference for it.
Also, in other parts of the world, "soda" can be much more interesting. I saw one like this just yesterday (except it was more of a blue color):
