Yeah. I can't stand Coke as it's too bitter and always prefered Pepsi. I was probably one of the few people who preferred New Coke over Coke Classic. I stopped drinking all cola about 10 years ago as out of nowhere I started getting a strange bitter after taste from drinking it. I can drink any other flavor of pop so Im assuming my taste buds just changed. Maybe I'll grab a bottle and see if still has the same effect.Pepsi is a bit sweeter.
Ditto here, technically, but if you ask, they’ll start with listing the carbonated stuff first. You might even have to ask for anything non-carbonated by name.Around here, at least, anything non-alcoholic fits in the "soft drink" category.
I hate all fizzy sugar waters except a ginger ale or soda water. Taught my baby son that coke was evilYeah. I can't stand Coke as it's too bitter and always prefered Pepsi. The rest of the world knows there's at least a 50/50 chance this kind of stuff is just Kiwis messing with the rest of us, but it's so charming, we just let it go by unquestioned. Here in NZ we call them fizzy winkles named after John Winkle who brought carbonated drinks to the country in 1937.
I dont generally drink much pop or keep it in the house unless they have 5 for $5 2-liters, which they do every so often. But at almost $3 a bottle now I buy it even less.I hate all fizzy sugar waters except a ginger ale or soda water.
I'll buy the powdered lemonade or Gatorade mix so I can make it so it's not so tart. Milk I can't stand. Except a glass of chocolate milk every few years, I probably haven't had a glass of milk in 40 years. I use it for coffee, cereal or cooking, but I can't drink it straight.I'll tolerate lemonade if I need to but would rather drink milk or water, even juice is too sweet for me
If I know what it is, I will probably call it what it is.
