What do you love about 4e

You know, I've already posted more than enough about what I don't like about it. Let's get into the stuff I love:

  • At-will and encounter powers.
  • Powers for everybody.
  • Finally, what your character can do is more important than this gear.
  • Less attack/defense/save disparity for high-level characters.
  • New cool stuff to play with every level.
  • Racial abilities that matter, and more racial abilities at higher levels.
  • No racial penalties.
  • Rituals for non-casters.
  • Non-magical healing.

There's probably more that I either can't remember or haven't discovered yet. It's a great game, despite my complaints.

I'll try to narrow it down...

  • The ability to run low or high magic without fuss!
  • At-will/Encounter/Daily abilities
  • Healing Surges
  • Encounters with lots of creatures as the default
  • Monsters that do unexpected things by default
  • More Linear power level curve progression
  • Diseases!

The only thing I like is that the DMG has a somewhat fleshed out starter town and starter area. That is one thing every version of D&D could have used.
