What do you think of the Deluxe DM Screen?

I'll see your parody and raise you pedantry:

"A few reds even make their homes among snow-capped peaks, because altitude matters to them more than temperature."--Draconomicon: Chromatic Dragons, 41

:D

WotC has so lost me as a customer! They are ruining the versimalitude of D&D for good now! Why would they highlight where a mere FEW red dragons spend their time? Why not highlight what MOST red dragons spend their time. It clear says in this WOTC article where the habitats and ranges of the majority of dragons are in their most popular game world. I am really getting sick of this reinforcement that 'different is better.' I want old school not this school. I'm feeling railroaded.

I also can't stand how they keep putting out so many books! I don't have the money to buy them all, nor the time to read them. Moreover, the Barnes & Noble I shop at for RPG's has their titles on the top shelf. I strained my back trying to get to the WotC section.

Pathfinder was stocked on a lower shelf. Therefore I'm now a PF-er.

It is a nice looking screen, but I have not used a screen for years, preferring to roll out in the open and just keep notes on the floor where no one can see them but me.

I would like to tell you what I think of the screen, but I can't see the movie. It appears that Twitvid and Earthlink don't agree with each other.

Is there another site--any site--that has this video?

Here's a link to a youtube version of the video. Hope it works!

Thank you very much!

Now, as to the screen itself, I like it. I really like the Skill Challenges table with the advantages. It'll really help in my doing skill challenges on the fly.

I like the art on the old screen, but I like the new art, too. It'll be nice to look at something different, as well.
