Re: Survey is ageist - No it's not

Edit:
Looks like I was a little premature with that claim. A little more testing has revealed that it's based on playing frequency. If you play once a month, or less frequently, they aren't interested in your opinions. So, if you want to be heard, tell 'em you play once a week.

That seems completely absurd to me. I know that my gaming purchases aren't a reflection of how often I game. I went quite a while without gaming, and I still continued to buy things (of course, that was also about the time right before 3E, so there wasn't much out.

But, I don't see why I couldn't be an active member of an RPGA club if I'm not gaming. Hell, come to think of it, if I'm not gaming, an RPGA club might be the perfect thing for me!

Dumb.

What I'd like to see from an RPG Club would be some inclusion for those of us outside of the States, the way the RPGA treated countries outside the USA has been handled very badly and there a lot of disgruntled people in Europe at the very least...

That's a ridiculous metric. Not all people play short weekly games.

Our group play 12-16 hours once a month. That's the same time as someone who plays 3-4 hours every week.

And as already stated, someone who is into gaming but doesn't get to play very often would be MORE interested in something like the RPGA.

That is exactly the sort of question I was wishing for, that would, for starters, make me more interested in joining, than whether I get a #¤%&! t-shirt or not!

Hmm, looks like the survey might be gone.

I tried going back to it, and it wanted me to close the window. Not sure if it's because I have already done it or not. Can anyone else verify this?

the survey is still there. Yes, it asked you to close the window because you already took the survey.

To take the survey again, delete the cookie and try again. Or use another browser.

No, it's still there. You've just got a little cookie that says you've already done it.
You'll have to delete it to do the survey again, or possibly do it with another browser :)
