what does a CLW potion taste like in your world?

In my campaign, Cure Potions are sold by temples of Pelor and have a standardized dose and packaging.

Potion of Cure Light Wounds are package as the following:
This stoppered glass vial is 1 inch wide and 1.5 inches high. There is a image of the holy symbol of Pelor etched into the side of the vial. It contains 1 ounce of a runny light-blue liquid that has a minty taste.

Cure Moderate Wounds potions have the same description and taste as CLW except the color is a medium-blue and Cure Serious Wounds potions are dark blue.

Cure Potions brewed by other temples or NPCs have different characteristics but are harder to find or purchase.

Cure Potions IMC are green. The darker the green, the more potent (or less dilluted) the potion, so a potion of CCW is nearly black.

They taste like mint. The more potent the potion, the more strong is the taste (again, CCW can bring tears to the eye at wasabi-levels).

Yes and I'm glad it wasn't me! :D I'm trying to be less obvious.

What's up with mint? What it only cures wounds, it cleans your teeth too?! ;)

There was a time in my gaming life when the player would actually have to drink a potion the DM would have made. Sometimes the DM was nice (juice), sometimes he wasn't (milk, citrus juice and pepper).

As for potions in my campaign, potions produced by different individuals taste different... there's no definite taste.

Wow. I know I'm considered evil by some...but WOW. :] :D

In my campaigns, a Cure Light Wounds potion is pale green (with each potion having a distinctive color/appearance and a big DM's Eyes Only table of what they all mean, Craft: Alchemy checks, or more difficult Knowledge: Arcana checks could identify what individual colors mean).

I usually have some idea of the other qualities (consistency, taste ect) when I gave all the potions their colors, so I'd probably say it's opaque, with a thin and watery consistency, with an aroma smelling faintly of alcohol and herbs, when consumed it tastes like bitter herbs and medicinal alcohol. The stronger potions get darker shades of green, with more bitter flavor and much stronger odor. (This comes from imagining curing potions are tinctures of healing herbs infused with magical energies)

Endur suggested Coca-cola. That's a what a Potion of Haste is like IMC. Dark Brown and bubbly, with no real aroma (although the bubbles will tickle your nose if you smell closely), and a very sweet flavor. You quaff a potion, then start to find yourself moving faster and faster for a little while.

Milky-pink, with a sick minty flavor that makes your head shudder, then coats and soothes your stomach (i.e. CLW potions are just like Pepto Bismol)
