What Does Complete Scoundrel offer Spellthieves?

It's a nice quasi-review you have there (I liked your culture checklist!). Of course, I'm looking for specifics. Right now, all I know of are two spellthief-related feats, and a spellthief character stat block. Are there any spellthief items? spells?

I remember seeing several things that were spellthief specific. I can't remember what they all are. In addition to the feats, I think that some of the prestige classes work well for spellthieves.

Spellthief is fantastic for doubling the number of spells your party can cast in one round. Sorcerer + Spellthief? Now you can cast two of your Sorcerer's highest level spells in round 1. Works for Clerics with Cure spells, too.

However, they really shine in a party with a Warlock and a Dragonfire Adept. :]

That is a fun tactic I'd have to try out, but it seems sort of lame. I mean, who wants to play a character where all you do is cast someone else's spells? Why not just play a caster of your own?

I made a couple of "fixes" to the spellthief that I thought were kind of neat. If I recall, they went something like this:

1) No Sneak attack. Steal spell is done on a hit.
2) Six level spell progression, not four. Specialized Spellthief spell list.
3) Good Reflex and Will saves.
4) Evasion and Uncanny Dodge.
5) 8 Skill Points.
6) Can't cast spells in armour, like a mage.

You don't get a rogue's sneak attack, but you get a lot of the other rogue features, to balance things out. You get a six level spell progression, similar to the bard's, so you can start casting spells earlier on in the game, which widens your utility.
