what ESDs should I buy?

Before 3E, Spelljammer was a huge part of my campaign. "Goblin's Return" and "Heart of the Enemy" were the defining moments of the PC's lives. When 3E was about to hit, I ran "The Apocalypse Stone" with one group, and "Die, Vecna, Die!" with the other. The combination of events caused reality as they knew it to cease to exist, and a new reality was created. Unfortunately, they were all returned to level 1, and scattered across the new world, with only vague memories of what had happened. Well, BOY were they surprised (the characters, not the players) to find that space isn't what it used to be. The PC's are having culture shock in Dragonstar, because nothing is the way they expected it. I do miss the elements of Spelljammer, but it's easy to incorporate the racial and political structure into DS. And I'll be able to use the ships again once Bastion Press' Airships book comes out. (though they won't fly in space, they'll still be there)

Alright, well I'm gonna download some of the Planescape and Spelljammer ESD's tonite, burn em tomorrow, and print em the next day. The Problem is, what should I buy, in terms of Planescape and Spelljammer? I'm unsure. Also, I may pick up one or two things from Dark Sun or Birthright, what should I get there?

Well, the basic boxes for both PS and SJ are kind of neat. For Planescape, Planewalker's Handbook is great though I don't know how much of it would be useful in 3e (since a large part are rules for character generation). If you're going to run a campaign focused on Sigil, I recommend Factol's Manifesto and In the Cage. The planes themselves are described in greater detail in the Planes of Law/Conflict/Chaos boxes.
For Spelljammer, I think Lost Ships was neat, and War Captain's Companion was cool for collecting all the ships from various expansions in one place, but I don't know how useful it would be if you're converting the stuff to 3e. WCC didn't include the deck plans for the ships, but I think most can be found at http://www.wizards.com/dnd/article.asp?x=dnd/dx20020121x2 . If you're looking for an epic campaign, hunting for The Spelljammer itself (a legendary ship kind of like the Flying Dutchman, over a mile long) might be cool and there are lots of interesting stuff about that in the box The Legend of Spelljammer. If you want descriptions of the space around Krynn, Toril and/or Oerth beyond what's in the basic box, go for Krynnspace, Realmspace and/or Greyspace. If you want a single-sphere campaign that *isn't* centered around DL, FR or GH, try The Astromundi Cluster.

thanx for the links to the deckplans man, plus all your input.

But I noticed only one person answered the final question in my first post(the one about the Great Gazoo, Shub-Niggurath, and the Axe-Wielding Trix Rabbit). Does anybody else have any input?
