i've heard several people elude to a falling out followed by a "it's best to forget it"....is no one able to give a quick, factual account of what happened? did the guy get run or not?

It's been a while. It started with some extremely inflammatory threads...one dealing with rape, I believe. The fallout from that thread led to much nastier stuff in threads I avoided, but Bugaboo ended up getting banned, reinstated, and then banned again after he not only returned to his prior habits, but then started badmouthing admins.

I'd be lying if I said I was sorry he was asked to leave.

THAT was hilarious, I recall myself reading this dude who kept answering and auto-trolling himself...

And as regards Bugaboo.. I don't get it, I asked in another thread where was he now. He was Eric? He's banned? Par Tutatis...

Some of his trolls, especially the earlier ones, before most people caught on to his schtick, were hilarious... Unfortunately, for all that "sense of humor" he apparently wasn't very good at dealing with people who found some of his stuff unfunny or offensive. The Anthrax thread from last year comes to mind. If he posted something about rape and then acted anything like he did in that thread, (calling people small-minded and trying to climb on some sort of journalistic high horse) small wonder he got kicked...

I always thought of Bugaboo as most famous for the "how much do you charge your players?" thing. I heard a rumor that he still posts (non-inflammatory) under a different name on the secret forums.
