Nuttn' like a good hijack. I'm all over that thread -- I've said for quite some time now that your campaign sounds suspiciously similar to what I'd like to run if I get a long-running thang going here anytime soon.

I've corresponded with REM since he was laid off from WotC (not long before the Dungeon 88 adventure was published IIRC, perhaps in the Christmas 2000 layoffs?? [I could have my year wrong there]).
Anyway, Roger has tried to move into mainstream publishing. He sold all of his gaming stuff. He quit the industry _and_ gaming, from his commentary; he wasn't interested in being interviewed or answering fan questions, even about his own materials. (He wasn't impolite, quite the opposite, in fact; he just wanted to close the gaming chapter of his life I guess).
