[QUOTE="Staffan, post: 9513114, member: 907"] I'm currently (well, on a bit of a hiatus because my voice needed rest after a cold so someone else is running their GURPS game) running Infinity. It's OK, but I have some issues with the game (primarily how they made social interaction into "psywar", which basically uses the rules for combat – I don't know if this is something that was mandated because of the adaption of the minis game or not, but I don't think it's working very well). Fabula Ultima is giving me some saucy looks from across the room, so I'm leaning toward giving that a shot for my next game, but we should probably finish at least this Infinity adventure first. I'll also have to check with my play group if there's any interest in returning to Princes of the Apocalypse, which we were playing pre-Covid. When we switched to online playing, we put it on hold and played Pathfinder 2 instead. But we were pretty close to the end, and I think it would be neat to actually finish a campaign for once. I also think Aeon seems has some pretty cool things in it, but... it's too amorphous. There's nothing in it that directly grabs me and shouts "Do this!", and I think it suffers from trying to be all sci-fi things at once except classic space opera. I think it would have benefited a lot from a treatment similar to FFG's Star Wars: make a game with a strong identity within the overall range possible in the setting (the way Edge of the Empire is "Firefly in Star Wars"), and then release additional products that can cover different thematic identities.
