What games or game systems do you miss playing?

Man, I miss Shadowrun. I cut my teeth on Second Edition...losing my Friday nights to all-night sessions, getting killed every other session, cutting down people with Ingram Smartguns and Ares Alphas...oh, yeah.

One of our group's DMs ran a SR2/3 game a while back, and it was fun; we actually made him seek help to have us get in fights more.

Now that SR4's coming out, I'll probably wind up running a game, just so I can have characters shoot at people with miniguns.

Star Frontiers
Metamorphosis Alpha
Runequest
TMNT

I even have the occasional pang of nostalgia for Ghostbusters. Man we had some fun games of slime-spraying, stream-crossing fun back in the day.

I haven't been able to play RuneQuest in years, and I thoroughly loved that game.

Paranoia I don't get to play often enough ;)

And I wish I could get people together for another run of Over The Edge...

Marvel Super Heroes, HERO, Rolemaster, RuneQuest, Theatrix, Shadowrun, Call of Cthulhu. I've had a lot of great groups over the years and I remember some games very fondly as a result. Those are some of them. I'm pretty much a d20/Mutants & Masterminds person now, but I could be pursuaded to try something else. I'd like to see how the new GURPS works, and BESM. And Buffy.

Add me to the choir that praises TORG. It is one of the coolest games evar. Drama deck, Reality storms, and never forget the Cyberpope.

I also miss Alternity, which had a really neat task resolution system. Initiative was a little funky, but the rest of the system rocked.

Planescape (yeah, you could still play it, but the post 3rd ed just reeks compared to the original.)

Robotech (really, just cause it was Robotech.)

Always had an interest in Torg, but I only got into rpgs in 94, and didn't know anyone who played this one.
