What Gaming Stuff Are You Getting/Giving For Christmas?

I've asked for the Complete Mage and Scoundrel for Christmas, as well as dungeon and dragon magazines. My birthday was the 8th, and I got Dungeon, two OOTS books, and OOTS shirt and three boxes of minis. I got a giant riding a mastadon. Which is pretty darn cool.

For giving, I'm making a gaming accessory for one friend (I don't know if s/he ever browses here, so I'm being careful). That's pretty much it, though for a friend's birthday last month I got him a new gaming table.

Giving: D&D Player's Kit for my daughter. DM Guide for my son.

Getting: Let's see...probably another tie and a pair of socks :)

I'm giving my kids a few games. We play a modified version of MtG with the pre-built decks - so they will get some of those.

To that special player who can never roll his dice on the table... WorldWork's Dice Tower of Chaos! :p

Now that I think about it, I may have to give a couple of those away!

I have a lot of gaming items on my list - Runebound, Dungeon Tiles, Heroescape. But the most important thing I would like is to spend time with friends and family over the holidays playing our favorite games!

I hope your days are filled with gaming goodness this holiday season!

Happy Holidays! :)

This year, nothing in either direction.

My family knows I'm into gaming, but prefer to give me more practical gifts. Which, coupled with my love for stationery means I'm rarely short on the more mundane gaming supplies like pencils, rulers, post-its, good quality paper and things like folders.

In my old Queensland group I gave out stationery to the other players, who (except for the DM) were inevitably short on such things, though sometimes I went with dice or dice bags instead.

Not really giving any game stuff, since I'm the only one in my family who games.

Getting, however, is easy. I'll be getting:

WFRP2 - Tome of Corruption, Guide to Bretonnia, and Renegrade Crowns
Iron Kingdoms World Guide (stoked for this!!)
Runebound Boardgame (and I just preordered the desert expansion, on behalf of my wife "giving" me a Christmas present ;) )

I'm waiting to see how many gift cards I can accumulate before too long.

That way I can get some things in 2007 that I wouldn't necessarily get to have in 2006.

*agrees about the people that get Dungeon and Dragon subscriptions.*
