What Gaming Stuff Are You Getting/Giving For Christmas?

I asked this question last year but thought that I would ask again. What gaming stuff are you getting/giving for Christmas?

For me, I don't think that I'll be giving out a whole lot of gaming stuff as no-one else in my family games.

On the getting part, my wife has made for me a D&D minis advent calendar. I got the idea from someone on EN World last year and my wife was happy to go along with it. So each day in December until Christmas I get to open a pocket and get a new mini! :D

I also took advantage of the Green Ronin sale and another gaming sale. I imagine that a couple of those books will count as Christmas presents.

So what about you?

I'm hoping to get some classic 1E books from friends and family this year. I've been getting more and more interested in the older editions of D&D lately.

My partner has been playing D&D for two years now and I'm finally going to get her her own set of dice--probably the rose quartz ones from Crystal Caste.

Happy holidays!

I'm getting 2 boxes of D&D minis (this is a new thing for me, as I usually make my own or get metal ones), probably a WotBS subscription, and possibly an IOU for the 2nd Pathfinder AP. If they come on time, a couple of OotS books, too.

For giving, well, my wife doesn't want anything D&D, but I'm thinking of finding minis for my other players' PCs and painting them up.

I am sad to say the upcoming 4th edition has halted my annual gaming groups holiday tradition. Normally we each by another member a new book for Christmas but, I don't think it will happen this year. We all want to evaluate the new version before investing in new 3rd edition books. I may get some new dice for some of the guys.

I'll be giving. . . uhm. . . something game-related for my Story Games Secret Santa victim target counterpart. I've built a mid-tower PC for another friend which, while not P&P game-related, is PC game-related. I kind of hope I get the D&D Miniatures Handbook for Christmas (I never picked it up when it was new).

I'll be giving a couple of things I picked up from the Green Ronin sale. Getting? No idea. I'm sure either my wife or my gaming group will come up with something.

I was supposed to be getting:
Advanced Bestiary
Book of Fiends
Book of the Righteous
Cavalier's Handbook
Noble's Handbook
Unholy Warror's Handbook
Medieval Players Handbook

and giving to my players:
Psychic's Handbook x2
Shaman's Handbook x2
WItch's Handbook x2
and maybe additional copies for two other players that just joined the group.

However, things got chaotic last week. My best friend is not getting his bonus until after the GR sale at Paizo is over. Then, my roommate told me that she is moving out Jan 1. This was followed by my work telling me that the grant they are paying me through will not be available as the college just placed term limits on the grant they had been paying me through and a second grant of $500 they submitted on my behalf as bonus may not come in until after January, if at all.

During holidays and birthdays I give some real-world presents (such as awesome minis or splatbooks that they really like) and I always give in-game presents to the characters. They can request anything within reason, and I tend to allow things that aren't overly-powerful. They tend to ask for particular magical items that are on the expensive side, though sometimes they ask for custom adventures (solo or otherwise) that let their character REALLY shine. One player asked for the most awesome piece of character background ever: a dryad wife. It makes the entire campaign much more interesting.
