What Gaming Stuff Do You Plan/Want To Buy This Year?

Castle Keepers Guide

hah. At the rate that's going, we won't be seeing this till 2012! (please, no one jump in and say "but you don't need it". We know this already.) But its been on the Anvil for like, what, three years now?

Anyway, my list:
-Expeditions. Just bought Ravenloft. Good solid stuff. I look for more of the same from Demonweb, Undermountain and Greyhawk.
-Fantastic Locations. Got em all, love the format and the pretty maps.
-Tiles. Designing a dungeon's never been more fun.
-Minis Select D&D ones, mixed in with the odd GW LOTR, and lots of Reapers.

Maybes: Dungeonscape. FR modules. Villains Handbook. (is that one confirmed?)

Things WOTC can keep: The Complete anything. If my players wanna use that stuff, they can buy their own.

If it was anything like the Player's then this is good news.
Wasn't the Players one just a softback PHB, pack of minis and some dice? Maybe I'm missing something, but isn't that actually a pretty good deal?

I just ordered The Great Pendragon Campaign.

I will definitely buy Star Wars Saga Edition and Warhammer 40K Roleplay.

I will consider the Expeditions and new Freeport material. Those will be interesting to read about.

I am now interested in the Cormyr and Shadowdale products. What are they?

If I can get over the pdf-only format, I might buy Necropolis for Savage Worlds. I'll be keeping a close eye on this year's releases from Pinnacle Entertainment Group, too.

Just got: Paradigm's Tales of the Caliphate Nights

Will get: Dawning Star next month

Others may include: PCI's Arcanis World Book (although I think this might have to be a group purchase as the suggested price tag is a bit rich for me), True20 Companion, plus if they produce separate books for the 3 roles I may also pick them up

In general, I've decided it's physical books from now on. I went through a couple of years of pdf buying but all it did was encourage me to spread my spending over more things, a large number of which never even got read let alone used.

For an existing D&D player yes, it was a decent deal.

As an introductory product it was, and is, garbage.

The Dungeons & Dragons Player’s Kit is the perfect purchase for a graduate of the Basic Game, or anyone else looking to join a game of Dungeons & Dragons.

The first sentence of the product's description makes claims that are not supported by the actual product that we were given. Stepping from the Basic Game to the Player's Handbook is a massive leap for someone to make. And the supposed book on creating characters --

-- is laughable.

And I'm sorry, but a pack of minis from a release that was so unappreciated that I still find liquidated sets is merely a way to dump unsellable stock and not a valuable bonus.

Overall, I feel this product was a poor, poor release and came nowhere near achieving its stated purpose.

To be honest...so far nothing this year is calling to me. Below are the ones I am interested in a bit, but I don't feel a need to get them immediately. I'll probably look for a good deal. I blame MM IV for me not being hot to get a new monster book. Of the ones below, the 2 in red are the ones I am most likely to buy up quickly.

Dungeonscape
Magic Item Compendium
Expedition to the Demonweb Pits
Drow of the Underdark
Complete Champion
Monster Manual V
Exemplars of Evil: Deadly Foes to Vex Your Heroes [unconfirmed]

It's been a while since I've seen one of these threads so I thought that I'd start one up again.

What do you plan/want to buy this year?

In terms of new stuff, I'll still echo my reply from http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=183219 which focused on NG's City of Brass box set, the Castle Zagyg box set, the WotC Exepedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk, and Rob Kuntz's Bottle City (and other Lake Geneva Castle & Campaign releases).
