The Three Part Plan
This is my personal beliefs as I've come to see them. First, reincarnation is true. You do come back.
You see, everyone has three parts to them:
The Body (purely phsyical)
The Spirit (purely spiritual energy)
The Soul (a mix of physical energy and spiritual energy)
Just as your body returns to the physical source (Earth) when you die, so to does your spirit return to the spiritual source. Your soul (the glue that holds the spirit and body together) travels from life to life. THis is why you sometimes have memories are feelings you can't explain or justify; the soul is dredging up past lives.
You need all three parts to "live" as we see it, though out of body experiences happen. That's my thought on the matter.

Due to the fact that I only see myself and the good Ranger active at this time of night, I am going to close this topic, as Sarevok seems to want.
I will say, Sarevok, that if you need a friendly ear, or some resources on the topic, e-mail me. If you are at a confused status in life right now over the myriad different beliefs out there, I am afraid I can't help much.
