What have you done with the Stonelands?

Great ideas ruleslawyer!

Last session, the PCs left the stronghold in care of around 24 goblin "slaves" that the orc raiders had been using. The goblin slaves are malnourished and have no equipment. With some decent role-playing, the half-orc fighter of Lathander is trying to convert them to be "good" aligned people.

Anyways, I was thinking that when the PCs return to the Keep, they may find a Zhentarim force attempting to claim the "abandoned" keep as their own.

The 3E maps erroneously place the Stonelands only north of the Storm Horns, whereas they're intended to be on both sides -- they'd be much less a problem for Cormyr otherwise.

Faraer, what's your particular source for that? Every 2nd Ed. map I've seen, has the Stonelands as being only north of the Storm Horns. The area south of the Storm Horns between the mountains and Arabel is called the Helmlands, because of the wild magic there after Helm killed Mystra there during the Time of Troubles. I don't recall seeing any source saying that the Stonelands were south of the mountains too. If you can point me to such a source I'd be obliged.
