What I picked up from my FLGS today

Well my once FLGS stocks mostly miniatures stuff like Heroclix and Warhammer these days, and some D&D/d20 stuff. They're getting rid of their 2E sourcebooks, so I picked up the following:
Thief's Challenge II: Beacon Point
The Complete Spacefarer's Sourcebook
Viking Sourcebook
Sea of Fallen Stars
Joukandor


Quite a nice haul. All for about US$6.

That's my kind of deal!

Man, I wish gaming books were cheaper. Yeah, yeah. I know they cost a lot to make. But I am SO poor.

It's sad, really. Ramen noodles and water for Dave.

I feel like such a turd when I sit there, scribbling notes out of a book, and the game shop owners (since I know them) feel too bad to say anything.

But, that's a raaaaaaad deal. It's like the glory that is Goodwill, and Salvation Army.

Heh. In about 9000 dollars (@ 6.50 an hour) I will have the money to set aside 40 bucks for The Riddle of Steel rpg. I can't wait. Maybe someone will feel like donating to me at some point.
