What I Really Appreciate About My Players

Limper asked....

1) Amazing creativity and inventiveness in tricky situations.

2) Willing and agreeing to show up and play on a regular basis.

3) The co-creative input they bring to the campaign story.

4) Their enthusiasm for the campaign.

5) Their willingness to ask for feedback and to let me call them up to talk about things.

6) That they are also friends of mine, who I can go hiking, fishing, or drinking with, or ask them to help me move, for extra xp and die bumps, of course .

7) That they, with their creativity and input, give me all kinds of ideas for the campaign.

8) Their interest in character development and motivation that helps them develop and progress the campaign.

9) Their genuine interest in creating vibrant, complex characters who are willing to become heroes and face odds a commoner would flee from, and, more often than not, surmount those odds, and co-create more cool stuff for the campaign.

10) The really great mood music they bring to test out.

1) Surprises around every corner

2) Reacting to things that are not there, sometimes passionately.

3) Making me change dice only to watch me roll 20's with theirs, and not killing me for it.

4) Allowing me to take back mistakes from time to time.

5) Allowing me to look up a rule I forgot

6) Finally understanding I AM NOT OUT TO GET YOU, the monsters are though. heh

7) Laughing at the silly noises I make when describing actions

8) Laughing all the time at my antics as the DM

9) Allowing me to collect my thoughts after a huge laugh session

10) Paying attention (Well most of them heh!!)

11) TRYING to understand their character and really roleplay!

12) Worrying about what happens to other non-PC's in the game

#4, #5, and #6 are part of the Canon of Getting Together to Have Some Fun and Possibly Save the World, methinks. :D
