What if DR/magic was removed from races/templates?

A dragon's attacks arent counted as magic?

As Corsair mentioned, some do. Any creature with (natural) DR/Magic counts his natural weapons as magic. Some even transfer this to their weapons (e.g. salamander).

I find the DR10/Magic to be very useful. It saved my level 14 character once from a rampaging group of land sharks once, reducing the damage from their hits down to about 3 or 4 instead 13 or 14.
