Here is another list from me:
1) Imperial Underworld Dragon - Residing deep within twisted tunnels and caverns snaking underground, they are the most feared creatures on this world. When one of these dragons comes to the surface, it is almost always an event etched into history.
2) Valkyrie - The angels of this word, there are two distinct branches which mostly keep to their own when not engaged with their duties: those that resemble humans and those that resemble dwarves.
3) Pegasus - The mounts of all "human" valkyries. Somewhat less common a companion for the dwarven branch, but not surprising when seen together.
4) Piscodaemon - The eternal enemies of the valkyries.
5) Nephilim - Mysterious and extremely rare, it is believed that a nephilim is the child of a "human" valkyrie and a human man who wavered between life and death after falling in battle. No one has ever seen a nephilim more closely resembling a dwarf, though this can neither be taken for proof that they are not descended from valkyries, nor that no dwarven nephilim is possible.
6) Flesh Golem - Taken with the stories of the nephilim, talented but misguided people from time to time have attempted to create their own "nephilim" through artificial means.
7) Ratfolk - Much despised by men and dwarves, ratfolk still manage to eke out an existence hidden in the shadows. Some tell tales of a secret ratfolk civilization that plots to bring destruction to those that have mistreated them.
8) Sandman - Deadly stalkers of the desert sands, they terrify and slay all desert travellers that they can.
9) Treant - Lords of the forests, they often find themselves at odds with the building races. Tend to show less prejudice towards ratfolk.
10) Dwarf - In the days of old dwarves tunneled farther beneath the ground, but they were driven upwards and out of many of their homes by the terrible underworld dragons, whom they count as their destined foes. In present times, they act much likes humans, trading and warring amongst themselves and other races, though they tend to keep to the hills and mountains.
