What is a Good staff for a LEvel 12 Wizard?

WEll, he's not specialized, but he rarely uses Necromancy, preferring to drop Evocations, a lot of Electricity(he's given everyone in the party Rings of Electricity Resistance, Major). Also, he likes Conjuration spells, I'm developing two of them with him, Fierce Knight and Knights of the Round(EPIC), most of his spells have that "Noble Wizard" quality to them. He's also been deemed an "Elf Friend" and a "Stone Brother"(Same as Elf Friend but with the Dwarves), dunno if that helps.

Well, first suggestion is, do you insist it be a staff? Sounds like he might get a kick out of the metamagic rods in Tome and Blood. And you can always make it longer than normal so it's cosmetically a staff, but mechanically a rod.

Alternately, I'd suggest a staff of "utility" spells, spells that aren't particularly combat-oriented. (I'd suggest a staff of passage, but that might be a bit more than you're looking for.) That way, he doesn't have to worry about preparing such spells, and can focus his daily spells on the ones he likes.

Thanx for the tips Mouseferatu, he might actually like either of those, especially since he doesn't really use Metamagic feats(although he's told me that at higher levels, he's gonna start taking some in a few levels he said), but the utility spells one might be very useful for him(and the rest of the party).
