What is a Kord related hook?

See...there's your problem. According to 4th edition, Kord is an unaligned/neutral God and not Good at all. That's just the lore....I assume a LOT of folks refluff him into the Chaotic Good camp of yesteryear out of tradition. There's nothing wrong with that, but when citing the scripture of fictional deities, check out the New Testement too. Kord in 4E has been kind of scary from day one.

That's one of the things that I like, about the reworking of the pantheon in 4e. They finally realized that some gods are about certain things, not good and evil. You could have a good person who believes in spreading civilization worshiping Erathis, but an evil land developer could just as well. It can create a situation, much like in the Middle Ages, in which both sides claim to have "God" on their side.

Damn it Ryujin ....I started to type up cliff notes from this month's D&D Outsider before I stopped myself. Yes. What you said. Exactly. Check out the column this month for an intense look at why Bane is the most inspirational deity around...and why I painted him riding a dragon, with his bondage girlfriend, and playing the keytar. I love my job.

On task: In a similar vein, I'm really digging the whole Dawn War lore thing that I never paid much attention to until Heroes of the Elemental Chaos. The whole "The Primordials aren't evil they just lost the war and the Gods have good press agents" vibe is almost magical to me.

I'll keep my eyes open for it. Who couldn't like a lunatic who seemingly throws himself into battle like a berserker, but who has plans, within plans, within plans?
