• summarize the general consensus (if any) of a discussion
• summarize the respective sides / options of unresolved discussions
• filter out any proposals counter to work you have already completed
• make note of any cool idea(s) that strikes their fancy
• respond back to the thread(s) on behalf of the team, when appropriate
• recommend new threads of discussion or recommend closing old ones
