What is on your Buy list?

Currently on my buy list:

- Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk (Aug)
- Shadowdale: The Scouring of the Land (now)
- City of Brass (Necromancer Games) (Aug or Sep)
- Fortress of the Yuan-ti (Sep)
- Anauroch: The Sundering of the World (Nov)
- Pathfinder 1-7 (credit)

I'll try a Paizo Gamemastery adventure and see what it's like.

That's it for the foreseeable future (through mid-2008).

Right now, my Gen Con/birthday list is looking like this:

Descent:Journeys in the Dark - I have wanted this game for years now, and I'm finally going to spend the money on it.

GameMastery Modules D0 Hollow’s Last Hope, D2 Seven Swords of Sin, W1 Conquest of Bloodsworn Vale - I really enjoyed Crown of the Kobold King and Paizo's work in the past. If I like these three enough, I may just subscribe to the modules.

XCrawl Dungeon Battle Brooklyn, Coney Island Crawl, Las Vegas Crawl - TB, I'm shocked that these aren't on your list. XCrawl is way too much fun, and I so happy Goodman Games gave it a home.

Reaper Legendary Encounters Ogre Chieftan, Cave Troll - I'm real curious how these stack up against the D&D minis, so I'm going to give them a shot.

I'll also be looking at Monte Cook’s World of Darkness, Dark Matter d20, Expedition to Castle Greyhawk, Savage Tales of Solomon Kane, Battlelore, and Monsternomicon II, but will probably pass due to the large amount I'm already spending. :)

This is the first time in a long time that not a single RPG book is on my list. I'm keyed up about the World of Warcraft Adventure game, Descent: Road to Legend, The Burning Crusade expansion for the WoW boardgame, Tanhauser, and more expansion decks for Runebound. The new edition of Talisman may get on the list if they improve the game enough. Beyond that there's a ton of 360 and DS games coming out that are on the list.

Really, I think the next rpg book I buy will likely end up being the Warhammer 40K book next year.

If World on Fire for Spycraft 2.0 is available, then it's on the list as well.

Alas, this just in from Pat @ Crafty Games...

Hey everyone,

We just got word from Mongoose that the timing is just too tight and we won't have books for sale at the show. It was apparently very close - thus our hopeful update - but the dice ultimately came up snake eyes. :(

There's still a fair chance that we'll have a couple copies on hand to show off, though. Still working on that, as well as a hard joint release date.

:(

Suprisingly little actually. I'm going to pick up the Rules Compendium when it comes out. I'll be picking up the Spell Compendium at that time. Mostly, though, I'm focused on miniatures, the paintable kind. I'm addicted to Reaper Minis.

Farther out, I'd like to get caught up on my monster manuals, maby start getting into the monster geographica line from XRP. Lotsa tasty monsters from what I could see at the FLGS.

Only 3 must buys this year:

City of Brass (Necromancer)
Saga of the Witch Queen (Goodman Games)
A set of dice from Lou Zocchi

I'm sure I'll pick up some other things, but that's all that I need to come home with this year to have a successful GenCon.

Well, if this is more a general thread than one for GenCon goers, I'll chime in.

I really had to think about this question. My space available for books is extremely limited, so I have to clear out some space to make room for the new. That said, stuff I'd like to get includes:

* Rules Compendium
* Monster Manuals IV and V
* Conan 2e
* Tegel Manor (whenever it comes)
* Dark Tower
* RQ Hawkmoon and RQ Elric
