The free samples from Skeleton Key's e-Adventure tiles. Get enough of these and you can piece together some nice little combat grids.

By far, all the extra goodies that Clark, Bill & crew over at Necromancer Games has on their website. They give out tons of extra cool freebies. I especially liked all the extra material for Crucible of Freya (which turned a 48 page mod into a min-campaign setting), and the Rorystone Road supplement for the Players Guide to the Wilderlands. Necromancer RAWKS!

Also, Star Wars RPGNETWORK has TONS of cool free stuff.

PCGen - a great freeware character generation utility.

Ink and Quill is a very high-quality and large resource. I haven't used it a lot, but it's very nice.

Of course, I'd have to say I've used the SRD the most. I can't remember whose version I have, but one of the one's in PDF with bookmarks. It came out shortely after 3.5.

Has anyone posted one nice PDF with all the psionics and other updates included?

Anyway, another free resourse is EN World's creature catalog and the monster forum.
