What is the best material to use for creating DM Screens?

I use my Laptop.
I've also used Picture Frames in the Past.
You can Get Tri-Folds that fit 8 by 10's & you can store the DM Pages behind the glass.
You can also get some that are pretty sturdy when Folded up that can take some serious Punishment.

Okay, I finally got the pics up.
So here is the screen from the front (sorry that the pic is a little dark)
As you can see I made a four paneled screen. I used 3/16 of an inch foamboard and this rubber-like material I also found at the art store to create the hinges.
This is it from the DM's position behind the screen. It is about 16 inches high. I created my own tables for skill checks and some combat and environment stuff using MS Publisher and printed them and pasted them to the board. The outer "wings" of the screen hold my critical hit/fumble result charts. As you can see, they are ripped off, and I plan to paste new versions when I have some extra free time (right now all my free time is eaten up by actual game prep, as I am working nearly full-time and working on my masters degree)
On past screens, I would use colored construction paper to create a kind of matte/frame for the individual tables - and make for easier replacement of tables - as they stayed on, but peeled off easily without leaving the torn remains you see on my current screen. However, the design elements I wanted to incorporate (portability, see below) limited the width of the individual panels - so I could not afford to give even an eighth of an inch to a border for the tables.
You can see in the two above pictures the rubbery material I used for the "hinges", using heavy-duty spray adhesive to hold it in place. After pasting the hinge to each section, I left it under very heavy books and a cinderblock for 24 hours. The center "hing" is very wide because I wanted to be able to fold the whole thing up to be as wide as one panel. If I were to remake a screen like this I would make the hinges wider so that more of it adheres to the panel - so it'll be a little sturdier.
Above you can see the screen in the closed up position - I wanted it to fold up as small and solid as possible for ease of both storage and travel. I usually run my games at my place - but if I do have to travel (like going to run game at GEN CON) the screen first perfectly in my backpack - kept straight by my gaming books.
So there you have it - Keep in mind, I made this screen in 2000 - so if it looks beat up - well, it has been 7 years and I have probably changed the info on it three times and it has been to two GEN CONs and for a while there I was traveling to run my game.

So, other than what you've said so far, if you were to make a new screen today, knowing everything you've experienced with your current screen, and having seen a lot of other people's screens at conventions (I assume), what would you do differently?

if u live in the UK email me for info.
only charge £4.99, but P&P to USA makes it not worthwhile posting there.
have seen the PEG one. its nice and heavy, but very tight to get paper in, and its smaller than A4
